A Kansas City Printing business

Mesa Buying Letterhead Wholesale
How much letterhead and office stationary does your business use daily? How about on a weekly or annual basis? Whether a new business or "old hat" in the industry chances are you may benefit by buying your Wholesale full .....
There are many lucrative positions entrepreneurs can take to make money online. The key is considering your talents, interests and the amount of time you want to invest in a new business venture.

Tip: How do I calculate the resolution you must use for scanning a photo?
Increase the scanning resolution above 300dpi by the same percentage you will be enlarging the original photo.

For Example:
Photo size = 2 x 3 inches
Santa Ana Business Stationary Makes An Impression
There are many ways to make an impression on important customers. These include using Printable stationary for all business communications. You can create your own Personal stationary .....
Image layout size = 5 x 7 inches
5/2 = 2.5 (you will be enlarging the photo 2.5 times, or 250%)
Scan photo at 2.5x 300dpi, or 750dpi

If you need to enlarge anything larger than 300% it is best to contact your local service provider for a professional scan.

Consider for example, your own Custom commercial printing service. If you have a fondness for printing and a knack for copywriting or creating catchy phrases, you might find great success online by starting your own business.

Q: How can I be sure I am getting the best quality possible
A: To make sure you get the best quality possible, simply write down the pixel dimensions of your image and if the image does not include text divide each number by 300. (Divide by 400 if the image does include text.) For example: An image without any text has a pixel dimension of 600 x 900 pixels. Once each dimension is divided by 300 the result is 2 x 3 inches. This means that you can use this image at 2 x 3 inches or smaller in your layout for quality printing results.

Q: How should I take pictures with my digital camera?

A: It is very important to make sure that the camera is set to the highest quality setting possible. This means that if you can only save one image on the picture card instead of 12, 64 or 128 images, then this is good! You want to create the best quality picture that the camera can make. This will mean large file sizes and slow downloads from the camera itself, but it will get you the best possible results from your camera.

Digital camera images are on 72 DPI, so they should be taken in the largest pixel dimension possible. ie… 2500 x 1500. Images should be at 300dpi in their final size in the layout! So you will need to convert them from 72 dpi to 300 once you add them to your layout.

Q: How do I know what resolution is for my digital camera?

A: Most of the newer digital cameras will let you know what the image resolution is. But there are still others that will only tell you what the pixel dimensions of your image. If you know what the pixel dimensions of your images are either from the camera itself or through the image editing software, you can do a little math to determine the resolution, and the size you need to print the image at for the clearest and sharpest printed image possible.

Of course, most online entrepreneurs are involved in other business ventures, including marketing or selling other products and services online. If you are involved in a business like marketing or selling products (let's say gift baskets) online, you should consider taking advantage of the services most commercial printshops have to offer.

Many people still don't realize the internet is a wonderful resource for accomplishing daily tasks associated with running a business. If you can for example, contract out your administrative tasks, why wouldn't you also consider contracting out your printing needs in Kansas City, Missouri ?

Tip: Once the customer has read your sales brochures, its time to drive home the sale. One very effective technique is to offer a special rate or discount on your product if the customer displays or mentions your sales brochures. This makes the customer feel that they are getting a special deal, and may serve to facility the initial sales contact.

Most online printers gladly design and print full color custom business cards, brochures, post cards and other marketing materials. Consider this the next time the entrepreneurial spirit engulfs your system. You may find you save time and money by taking advantage of the many services online retailers have to offer.
