Your Charlotte Wholesale full color printing
When you buy Wholesale letterhead, you save time, money and effort. Anyone, whether a small business, large business or individual with multiple printing needs, can take advantage of Wholesale Printing at some point or another.
Tip: Always work with your printer at the inception of a project. Consulting a printer at the early part of a job will usually save you time, money & frustration.
Some products simply require ordering at wholesale pricing. Examples include:
Business or office stationary Custom business cards Envelopes and letterhead Personalized letterhead Flyers Tri fold brochures
While you don't have to order large quantities of such items, it makes sense to do so, unless you plan to change your business logo in the near future. If your business requires daily printing, why not take advantage of wholesale prices on office stationary?
Q: Can you explain the difference between RGB and CMYK formats?
A: RGB refers to the primary colors of light: (Red, Green and Blue), that are used in monitors, television screens, digital cameras and scanners. CMYK refers to the primary colors of pigment: (Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, and Black). These are the inks used on the press in "4-color process printing", commonly referred to as "full color printing".
The combination of RGB light creates white, while the combination of CMYK inks creates black. Therefore, it is physically impossible for the printing press to reproduce colors exactly as we see them on our monitors.
Q: Why is it important that I set up my file in the CMYK format?
A: You should be the one to convert your colors from RGB to CMYK. By doing it yourself, you have maximum control over the results. You may notice a shift in color when converting from RGB to CMYK. If you do not like the appearance in CMYK, it is recommend that you make adjustments while working in CMYK (usually lightening will help achieve your desired look.) Generally, you should specify CMYK color builds that look a little lighter than you want, since the dots of ink "fatten up" on press, giving you more pigment on paper than you see on your monitor. Be especially careful to keep backgrounds light if there is black or dark colored text over it, so that the text remains readable.
Q: How should I take pictures with my digital camera?
A: It is very important to make sure that the camera is set to the highest quality setting possible. This means that if you can only save one image on the picture card instead of 12, 64 or 128 images, then this is good! You want to create the best quality picture that the camera can make. This will mean large file sizes and slow downloads from the camera itself, but it will get you the best possible results from your camera.
Digital camera images are on 72 DPI, so they should be taken in the largest pixel dimension possible. ie… 2500 x 1500. Images should be at 300dpi in their final size in the layout! So you will need to convert them from 72 dpi to 300 once you add them to your layout.
There are of course, other ways small businesses and individuals can save money. These include budgeting for monthly expenditures, taking care of small projects in house, and "clipping coupons." Most commercial printing services at some time or another send their customers discounts on their products and services. If you can, there are times it makes sense to withhold ordering until you can take advantage of these discounts.
Tips for Running An Efficient Business After taking advantage of discount or wholesale prices, a business must go about its "business" efficiently. The number one step toward achieving this is planning. It is important business owners plan ahead for events, including marketing events that may require vast quantities of brochures or other promotional printing materials.
Tip: (Lossy can be defined as - If a process is lossy, it means that a little quality is lost when it is performed. If a format is lossy, it means that putting data into that format (or possibly even manipulating it in that format) will cause some slight loss. Lossy processes and formats are typically used for performance or resource utilization reasons. The opposite of lossy is lossless.)
Another tip for offering efficient services in Charlotte, North Carolina is stockpiling certain supplies including paper supplies so you never run out. You can sometimes set up automatic ordering so the printer simply sends a quantity of products to you at a designated period during the month or year.
