Jackson 4 color printing process info
There are many services you should take advantage of when using commercial printers, none the least of which includes color printing .
When printing educational materials, promotional materials or every day business materials, color simply helps things "pop" on paper. That means your target audience, regardless of who they are, are more likely to pay attention when custom color printing techniques are used.
Tip: Resolution and size of an image are in inverse proportion to each other. An image 2 inches x 2 inches in size at 300dpi increased in the layout to 4 inches x 4 inches has a new resolution of 150dpi.
Modern technology affords printers many options when it comes to color. These include printing brochures and images using full color printing flyer techniques. Jackson Mississippi offset printing presses also allow printing of hundreds of documents at once without concerns about the quality of material printed.
Pittsburgh Tri Fold PrintingOne way to advertise your products or services to customers, or simply educate potential customers about your mission and values is by taking advantage of Tri fold brochure templates. ..... Q: Why is it important that I set up my file in the CMYK format?
A: You should be the one to convert your colors from RGB to CMYK. By doing it yourself, you have maximum control over the results. You may notice a shift in color when converting from RGB to CMYK. If you do not like the appearance in CMYK, it is recommend that you make adjustments while working in CMYK (usually lightening will help achieve your desired look.) Generally, you should specify CMYK color builds that look a little lighter than you want, since the dots of ink "fatten up" on press, giving you more pigment on paper than you see on your monitor. Be especially careful to keep backgrounds light if there is black or dark colored text over it, so that the text remains readable.
Q: How close will my print job match what I see on my monitor?
A: Very often customers are pleasantly surprised at how well their job matches what they see on their computer screen. But keep in mind, because of the wide differences in monitor calibration and the different technologies used, some printed colors may not exactly match the colors on your specific monitor.
If you do plan on scanning and printing images, you may find delivering your material to a commercial printer delivers much better results than attempting to print material on your own. Unless you have the latest technology in your home office printer, chances are you won't be able to duplicate the custom color processes many printers have to offer.
Don't worry... most modern printers offer color printing and related services very reasonably. In fact, your best bet includes bundling services. Have your printer take care of your business letterhead, office stationary and any other printing needs you have and you'll find you are most impressed with the results.
Tip: Preferred File Formats for Images? Photographic images can be saved in different file formats. The format of choice is one that does not lose color quality, contrast or file size. TIF or EPS files are examples of lossless file formats. They are designed to print clear and crisp at a resolution of 300dpi at their final size in the layout. JPEG/JPG or GIF files are examples of lossy file formats. They were originally designed for easy file transmission and internet use, not for printing.
