Tip of the Week

Make sure your photos are 300 dpi or better. What does that mean?

It means DON’T pull your photos off your website. Use the original photos from your digital camera, or scan color prints at the highest resolution your scanner will allow.

Warning: Low-Resolution Images Don't Print Well!

Many images, particularly 72dpi jpegs taken off the Internet, look jagged and blurry when printed on paper, especially glossy stock. Those images have already been reduced in resolution so they load fast on the internet, and you can’t go backwards to make a low resolution file into high resolution. You need to start with a high resolution file. For best results, we recommend that your images be at least 300dpi (dots per inch). The best thing to do is send us the original images from your digital camera.

To get good images from your digital camera, use the highest quality setting available on the camera.

How Does Fake Cisco Equipment Affect Production?

Fraudulent Cisco is detrimental to our money and careers. For several people, it is the difference between having their livelihood or not. The most horrendous part about counterfeit Cisco is that a lot of those human beings who utilise counterfeit Cisco don't possibly realize it, because the elements look and work like the real merchandise. What are we to do about it? What exactly should be directed to change this problem? As consumers we had better recognize just how to manage pirated Cisco.

Let us make it crystal clear that although you want a less expensive object doesn't mean that wise shoppers had better decide on counterfeit Cisco. In fact, you can conveniently purchase used Cisco as an alternative. This alternative is one that can help big business as an alternative to depriving the businesses. Let us scrutinize just how imitation Cisco is upsetting the used Cisco production in particular.

Fake Cisco equipment that originates from China are hard on the refurbished Cisco production. This isn't anything new, because many companies from Republic of China have encountered that forging commonplace materials is a simple operation to do. They select what is good and operative, build it themselves, place a new label on the product and think its good enough. This can be realized from those areas as big names like British Motor Works and Mercedes. This represents quite an inconvenience in the computer production as faking on prominent names including Cisco is happening. The issue is that it has become a huge commercial enterprise for them too.

The scale of the problem

So, what is the big deal, then? When you examine the refurbished Cisco market, you'll find out that traders in the United States of America are presently confronting these criminal counterfeiting activities. The problems arise when the actual commerce is deprived by the bad one, in simple terms. If smart shoppers aren't persuaded to just how immense of an issue this can represent, realize the fact that thirty billion dollars a year is given to the used Cisco market. This cash, now tarnished with "fake" supplies leaves a bad taste in just about everyones mouth. In the U.S.A. alone, a major sum of fraudulent Cisco is getting in, so much so that the government and the policemen can do considerably less about the problem.

The thing that creates a bigger problem is the simple fact that pirated Cisco merchandise looks just like the real products. That means that unless smart shoppers have the item in hand and are sure of what you are looking at, chances are good that the commondity may be readily sold to unsuspicious patrons. There is no way to prevent counterfeit Cisco from falling into the hands of those shoppers who would have been attaining used Cisco authentically. Inside the U.S., the used computer supplies salesmen are now having trouble with making a profit and this simply adds to the frustration that dealers are feeling.

These materials are typically traded as brand new. They are ofttimes sold at lower prices than second hand equipment also. But, we really can not criticize the inexperienced consumers who pick these pieces simply because they are cheaper. Shoppers might not even understand they have fake products until they need to repair it. Many times the products are not as premium quality either. But, let us analyze what what exactly is going on abroad to help cease this hassle.

How is it happening?

One of the hardest aspects to comprehend in this mess is how to prevent it from happening. Although many oversea materials are premium quality, those that replicate these are typically second-rate, but it is sometimes difficult to locate them. The good news is, if there is any, is that the U.S.A. is having an excellent working relationship with government agencies in these Asian governments that are trying to help them to resolve these problems. The solution is to find them and closedown their functionings. There are numerous stories of forced searches in several lands particularly those in Hong Kong where tons of used Cisco has been discovered and withdrawn. A total of seven plants in Shenzhen and Guangzhou were searched only to select a total of 2 million dollars worth of false articles being purchased, manufactured and sold. Across the Asian areas, these investigations are going on yielding staggering numbers of equipment.

What materials are being encountered?

There is a wide range of merchandise but thousands of of the Cisco commodities that are being taken are those products that are most workable and most easily sold. To illustrate, Cisco network modules, WAN interface cards as well as GBIC adapters are rising up as second hand Cisco is being refurbished or created and then traded. They are working with authorities to search out these plants and to get rid of the commodities.

You may ask yourself how they even obtained them in the first place. Quite a few of the sales of used Cisco materials to the mainland are real. But, it's been discovered that in a few instances, the pirating of these items was done by humans who acquired the products straight from certified Cisco retailers. In certain instances, they were even given warranties on their equipment!

Customers can obtain these second hand Cisco articles conveniently. Typically by purchasing them right on internet sites such as Ebay, people are inexperienced and simply sucked into thinking they are owning authentic Cisco merchandise. Here is a bit of advice given by one of the outstanding vendors of second hand Cisco in the United States of America. "It is a different world today as compared to 2 to3 years ago; customers need to be very weary of who they purchase from. If it looks too good to be true, often times it is."

Some strategies to stay clear of counterfeit items

  • Watch out for astonishingly low prices on new packaged merchandise.
  • Try to never shop on marketplaces including EBay and or other internet auctions.
  • Take care to make sure the company you purchase from has a 100% money back guarantee.
  • Be sure to ask for a minimum ninety day guarantee on all of your buys.
  • Research the Better Business Bureau for reference when it comes to the company you are wanting to purchase from.
  • Keep in mind, if it's too good to be true, run!

Fraudulent Cisco merchandise are taking quite a toll the countrys market. The products are typically not only costly for the industry but also for the clients who get them. Since these are pirated materials, they typically wind up funtioning poorly and requiring to be replaced. When you consider the fact that such things are really costly (often times 1000s of dollars) then it just makes sense to stay clear them at all costs, even when they offer a good bargain. Always buy from a licensed, authentic Cisco dealer.
