Full Color 11 x 17 Newsletter

The 11” x 17” is the most common newsletter size. The 11" x 17" newsletter is printed on both sides, and folded in half to make it a 4 page newsletter with a final size of 8 ½” x 11”.

The newsletter can be tabbed and mailed at the 8 ½" x 11" final size, or even folded down to 8 ½"x 5 ½" and mailed as a self-mailer in that configuration.

Tips for a Successful 11 " x 17" Size Newsletter

An 11" x 17", full color newsletter is a very powerful marketing tool for presenting your business or organization in a professional manner. The choice of an 11" x 17" newsletter is the perfect way to build your company image, inform the community, and promote specials and events.

You can add a second 11" x 17" sheet to your original 11" x 17" sheet and make it an 8 page newsletter. You can even add another 11" x 17" sheet and you will have created a 12 page newsletter. This can be tabbed and mailed at the 8 ½" x 11" final size, or even folded down to 8 ½" x 5 ½" and mailed as a self-mailer in that configuration also.

Some industries or items, such as food, clothing, action photographs, or a large amount of photos, will be printed better in full color than in black and white. If you are in a technical field, using more than 2 colors is not usually necessary. Whether it is company newsletters, government newsletters, or church bulletins, we can do them all.

You have many formats to choose from, including 2 pages up to 8 pages (or more by special request). You can create your newsletter layout using virtually any graphics program, whether Mac or PC version. We offer you a choice of economical 70# uncoated stock, 80# gloss, or 80# matte for that high-end feel. We have configurations to handle any amount of content you need to print for your newsletter.

If you feel you do not have enough content for an 11” x 17” newsletter you may want to consider an 8 ½" x 11" newsletter. This newsletter can either be produced flat, like a flyer, or it can be folded in half or even in thirds. You would fold it in thirds if the newsletter was to be mailed like a self-mailer, or enclosed in an envelope and then mailed. An 8 ½" x 11" newsletter can be configured to read in the full 8 ½" x 11" format, or configured to read so it is four, 8 ½" x 5 ½" pages when folded in half.
